Making a Summer Reading Program Rock
The Yorba Linda Public Library wanted to make its “Read to the Rhythm” Summer Reading Program for teens stand out. They chose to skip the standard, pre-designed materials and instead create a custom brand with an artsy, rock-and-roll vibe that would be more engaging for a teen audience.
My Solution
I designed a full suite of materials to bring the concept to life. The project included posters and flyers for various events throughout the summer, as well as a full-color, 16-page booklet given to every teen who signed up. The final design provided a cohesive and exciting look, helping the library connect with its younger audience.
I was responsible for the entire project, from initial concept and design to copywriting and print management.
