Designing for an Unconventional Museum
Without a permanent physical location, the Golden Gate Railroad Museum faced a unique challenge: how to effectively reach and engage new audiences. They needed a marketing tool that could capture the spirit of their historic preservation efforts and encourage people to get involved.
My Solution
I designed a comprehensive, full-color guidebook as a key part of the museum’s anniversary celebration. The publication not only provided details on their seasonal excursions but also highlighted upcoming museum enhancements and clear pathways for individuals to become members or volunteers.
This guidebook was a cornerstone of the museum’s outreach, helping to solve a unique marketing challenge with a thoughtful and strategic design.
The Museum Guidebook was a Graphic Design USA In-House Design award-winning piece.
